So if a Federal government can't help the small systems on any scale, then the people of that system have every right to leave the federal government. The UEG found out nearly all of these Systems left because of the lack of support they had from the federal government (Republic) because they weren't rich and suffered for hundreds if not thousands of years against raids from the Mandalorian crusades, pirate raids, and slavers attacking their homes and when natural disasters happened such as storms, floods, starvations, and plagues. The Republic's inner planets felt superior, like they had more rights as a living being. So the Republic hardly cared if they left or not. Most of these planets were pissed poor in modernization advancement or lacked materials for the Republic to advance. The UEG hates how the Republic and the Jedi order let thousands of Systems out of their precious Republic and expected nothing to happen and thought the Systems would come back begging them to be returned. But there is only so much a single man can do against an unlimited amount of droids. Men and women who all have sworn to protect the rights of all living beings to their last breath. And the Republic can't even defend its own borders and had to rely on the UEG ultimate warriors.
The Spartans were the UEG top soldiers in all out battles. With each system was a Spartan or two fighting for the innocents of the Republic. Across the galaxy, thousands of Spartans were holding the CIS back.
